MADRID Feb 8 (Reuters) - Real Madrid's Brazilian playmaker Kaka believes he has shaken off a lingering groin injury and his form is improving with each match and training session.

"Last week it was said that (my injury) was something chronic and that's not true," Kaka, who scored in Saturday's 3-0 home win over Espanyol, said at a news conference on Monday.

"I am improving in each training session and each match and I can do the things that I like on the pitch," he added. "Before I was not very good physically and it was affecting me a lot."
