UPDATE 1-Piedmont Office prices initial public offering

Feb 10 (Reuters) - U.S. real estate investment trust Piedmont Office Realty Trust Inc (PDM.N) said late on Tuesday that it priced its initial public offering at $14.50 per share.

Piedmont's offering of 12 million Class A common shares is expected to begin trading on Feb. 10 on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "PDM," the company said.

Piedmont said it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate and working capital purposes.

Morgan Stanley & Co and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc are joint book running managers for the offering, (Reporting by Sakthi Prasad in Bangalore; Editing by Valerie Lee)
