Venezuela awards Orinoco project to Chevron group

CARACAS Feb 10 (Reuters) - Venezuela on Wednesday awarded a project in the Orinoco belt to a consortium including Chevron (CVX.N), Venezuela's Suelopetrol and Japanese companies Mitsubishi, Jogmec, and Inpex (1605.T) as part of the Carabobo auction.
An official announcing the auction results said Venezuela would receive a $500 million bonus from that consortium.
