LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - CBS has handed a presentation order to an untitled comedy from director Larry Charles and screenwriter Ant Hines, whose collaborations have included "Borat" and "Bruno."

The semi-scripted project stars English actor Paul Kaye as a British lowlife moving to Los Angeles to reconnect with his daughter, who is a teen celebrity. "Da Ali G Show" alumnus Hines wrote the project, with Charles on board to direct.

This is the second comedy pilot this season about a British man coming to America.

ABC's "Awkward Situations for Men" stars British on-air personality Danny Wallace as himself as he moves to the U.S. with his wife, only to discover that his everyday behavior clashes with American values and gets him into trouble.
