Southern Co loan guarantees for $8.3 bln -official

WASHINGTON Feb 12 (Reuters) - The loan guarantees that U.S. President Barack Obama will announce next week for Southern Co (SO.N) to build and operate two new nuclear reactors amount to $8.33 billion, an Obama administration official told Reuters on Friday.
