Chile peso up 1 pct as Jan copper revenues surge

SANTIAGO Feb 15 (Reuters) - Chile's peso CLP=CL rose 1 in early Monday trade, boosted by a surge in January copper export revenues, traders said.

The peso rose to 522.70/523.20 per dollar compared with Friday's close of 528.00/528.50. The peso has seesawed in volatile trade in recent sessions. (Reporting by Maria Jose Latorre, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
