WHISTLER (Reuters) - David Moeller found out at his expense it is not wise to bite an Olympic silver medal.

Doing just that after he finished second to fellow German Felix Loch in the men's luge singles event on Sunday took him straight to the dentist.

"The photographers wanted a picture of me holding the medal just with my teeth," Moeller told German daily Bild. "Later at dinner I noticed a bit of one my teeth was missing."
