Argentine Q4 jobless rate rises to 8.4 percent

BUENOS AIRES Feb 22 (Reuters) - Argentina's unemployment rate rose to 8.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2009 from 7.3 percent in the same period a year ago, the government said on Monday.
The figure, which had been anticipated by President Cristina Fernandez last week, compares with an 9.1 percent unemployment rate during the previous three months.
