Feb 24 (Reuters) - Solar power maker Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd (YGE.N) said it signed a three-year agreement with Germany-based Gehrlicher Solar AG to supply 285 mega watts of photovoltaic (PV) modules.

The Chinese company said the deal provides additional visibility on sales and supply volumes, creates a solid foundation for long-term cooperation and strengthens its position in European solar markets.

The PV modules to be supplied to Gehrlicher, a PV system integrator, through 2012 are expected to be installed mainly in residential, commercial roof-top and ground-mounted power plants.
