LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC is postponing its "Prime Suspect" remake because it cannot find an actress to play the lead role originated by Helen Mirren in the BBC version.

The project, written by "Without a Trace" creator Hank Steinberg, follows a fearless detective as she investigates complex mysteries in a politically loaded big city.

After a long search, NBC executives opted to shelve the project until June. This is the second pilot this season to be pushed because of casting reasons, following the ABC comedy "Women Are Crazy, Men Are Stupid."
