Indian shares rise 0.3 pct; budget at 0530 GMT

MUMBAI Feb 26 (Reuters) - Indian shares rose 0.3 percent in early trade on Friday with Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) and Larsen & Toubro (LART.BO) leading the rise, taking cues from strong Asian markets. The focus will be on the federal budget due at 11 a.m. (0530 GMT).

At 9 a.m. (0330 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 0.26 percent at 16,296.59 points, with 25 components advancing.

The 50-share NSE index .NSEI was up 0.4 percent at 4,880.55. (Reporting by Ami Shah)
