Strong quake jolts Japan's Okinawa, Tsunami warning issued

TOKYO Feb 27 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.9 jolted Japan's southern Okinawa islands on Saturday, a government agency said.

A tsunami warning for waves of up to two metres in some areas was issued after the quake at 2031 GMT, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
