ABUJA, March 2 (Reuters) - Nigeria's Dangote Cement signed a $95 million deal with a unit of Germany's Siemens AG (SIEGn.DE) on Tuesday for three gas turbines, which it hopes will help it increase its annual cement production to 20 million tonnes.

Dangote Cement, Nigeria's largest cement producer, said Siemens International Turbomachinery would provide the turbines for its 5 million tonne a year Ibese cement plant in Ogun state, which is currently under construction.

"The three gas turbines are expected to generate 102 megawatts of electricity for the cement plant. Construction of the plant, which began in late 2009, is expected to be completed by January 2011," the firms said in a statement.

Dangote Cement is part of Dangote Group, the biggest indigenous conglomerate in Nigeria, whose interests range from flour and sugar to real estate and oilfields. Dangote Flour (DANGFLO.LG) and Dangote Sugar (DANGSUG.LG) are listed in Lagos.

The cement firm, which has been expanding across Africa, has said it plans to list in London as market conditions improve. (Reporting by Nick Tattersall, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
