TABLE-US chain store sales fall 0.8 pct last week-ICSC

 March 2 (Reuters) - The International Council of Shopping
Centers and Goldman Sachs on Tuesday released the
following seasonally adjusted weekly data on U.S. chain store
retail sales.

Feb   27           486.4             0.7               -0.8

Feb   13           479.5            -0.7               -1.6
Feb    6           487.1             1.8                1.4
ICSC Research expects same-store sales for February to be up
by about two percent.
The ICSC weekly U.S. retail chain store sales index is a
joint publication between ICSC and Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
Itmeasures nominal same-store sales, excluding restaurant and
vehicle demand, and represents about 75  retail chain stores.
