Amgen Inc to sell $1 bln sr notes in two parts-IFR

NEW YORK, March 9 (Reuters) - Amgen Inc (AMGN.O), the world's largest biotechnology company, said on Tuesday that it plans to sell $1 billion of senior notes in a two-part sale, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, and Morgan Stanley are the joint lead bookrunners on the deal, which is set to price later on Tuesday. (Reporting by Camille Drummond. Editing by W Simon )
