Angola February inflation slows to 13.66 pct y/y

LUANDA, March 10 (Reuters) - Angola's inflation slowed to 13.66 percent year-on-year in February from 13.83 percent in January, despite a continued rise in food prices, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the INE said month-on-month inflation was 0.89 percent in February compared with 0.80 percent in January. The government expects annual inflation to average 13 percent this year. (Reporting by Henrique Almeida)
