GMAC sells $1.5 bln 10-year notes - source

NEW YORK, March 10 (Reuters) - GMAC on Wednesday sold $1.5 billion of 10-year senior unsecured notes, said a market source familiar with the sale.

The 8.00 percent notes were priced at 98.320 to yield 8.25 percent, or 453.2 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries, the source added.

The joint-book managers on the sale were Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by James Dalgleish)
