TOKYO, March 14 |
TOKYO, March 14 (Reuters) - Japan's Tohoku Electric Power Co's (9506.T) Onagawa nuclear power plants are operating normally after a strong quake hit northern Japan, a company official said on Sunday.
Two of the three nuclear plants located in Miyagi prefecture, northeast Japan, are operating normally after an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.6 jolted the area.
The remaining one plant has been already closed since Feb. 23 for planned regular inspection.
