Ranbaxy says settles dispute with Takeda Pharma

MUMBAI, March 15 (Reuters) - India's Ranbaxy Laboratories (RANB.BO) has settled litigation with Japan's Takeda Pharmaceutical (4502.T) over a generic equivalent version of anti-diabetic drug Actos.

Takeda has granted Ranbaxy a non-exclusive royalty free license for its U.S. patents covering Actos, Ranbaxy, which is majority owned by Daiichi Sankyo (4568.T), said in a statement on Monday. (Reporting by Ketan Bondre)
