LONDON, March 21 (Reuters) - British finance minister Alistair Darling said on Sunday there was no question of any pre-election giveaways in next week's budget. "I don't think the mood of the time is for giveaways," Darling told BBC TV, saying the budget would be a "sensible" one aimed at securing future growth and cutting Britain's record budget deficit.
