REFILE-Kabel Deutschland trades just above issue price

FRANKFURT, March 22 (Reuters) - Shares in German cable television group Kabel Deutschland (KD8Gn.DE) made their bourse debut at 22.50 euros per share on Monday, just above the 22 euro per share price set for its initial public offering. [ID:nLDE62I1WW]

They edged up to 22.64 euros in the first few minutes in trading.

Its owners raised 759 million euros ($1.03 billion) after pricing Europe's biggest IPO this year near the bottom of an indicated range.

U.S. private equity firm Providence Equity Partners, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and the management sold a combined 34.5 million secondary shares, including a 4.5 million-share overallotment option. ($1=.7401 Euro)
