Germany, Switzerland agree double taxation deal

BERLIN, March 26 (Reuters) - Germany and Switzerland have agreed a double taxation agreement, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Friday.

Schaeuble told a briefing details of the deal would be disclosed in due course.

Germany, along with Italy, the United States and France, has been one of the most fervent critics of Switzerland's banking secrecy and has paid for stolen data from Swiss banks to catch tax cheats. (Reporting by Matthias Sobolewski, writing by Paul Carrel)
