Tokyo Gas to buy LNG, take part in LNG project

TOKYO, March 31 (Reuters) - Tokyo Gas Co (9531.T) said on Wednesday it has reached a basic agreement on the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from and participation in a coal-bed gas LNG project.
The company will brief on details at 2 p.m. (0500 GMT), it said in a statement. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori and James Topham)
