USGS upgrades strong Mexico quake to 7.2 magnitude

WASHINGTON, April 4 (Reuters) - The U.S. Geological Survey upgraded the intensity of Sunday's strong Baja California, Mexico quake to 7.2 magnitude from 6.9 magnitude.

The depth was also now reported at 6.2 miles (10 km) instead of 20 miles (32 km).
