HERNDON, Va. & GAITHERSBURG, Md.--(Business Wire)--
PingTone and BroadSoft, Inc., a worldwide leader of VoIP applications to the
telecommunications industry, today announced the addition of the BroadSoft
BroadWorks VoIP application platform to PingTone's network architecture. In an
ongoing effort to maintain the broadest collection of features and services to
its operations, PingTone will leverage BroadWorks to introduce new multimedia
services, including innovative wireless mobility solutions and further
enhancements to its video calling capabilities to business customers.

PingTone has been a leader in providing business class hosted VoIP services with
particular emphasis on being the industry leader in reliability, customer
service and superior voice quality since it was founded in 1999. The addition of
the BroadWorks platform will enable PingTone to continue the rapid growth of its
customer base and network while maintaining the focus on these areas of critical
importance to businesses.

BroadWorks will work side-by-side and in conjunction with the existing PingTone
M6 platform, also provided by BroadSoft. PingTone will continue to operate the
M6 platform, including support for all Cisco SCCP (Skinny) customers. The
network changes are enhancements and will help round out a product portfolio
that is targeted to business customers demanding the benefits derived from a
VoIP platform without sacrificing the reliability of their previous phone
systems. This expansion maintains PingTone`s carrier-grade interoperability and
redundancy, while enhancing the back-office capabilities and network
scalability.

"By deploying BroadWorks, PingTone will be able to continue bringing our
customers the expanded features and capabilities they require to achieve their
business objectives," PingTone Vice President of Sales and Marketing John Adams
said. "The BroadWorks platform adds value and flexibility to both our current
and future business customers to provide an outsourced alternative to allow them
to keep pace with the rapid technology advancements around VoIP."

"BroadSoft is pleased that PingTone is deploying BroadWorks, underscoring the
platform's ability to bring additional scalability and enhanced features to the
PingTone network," said BroadSoft President and CEO, Michael Tessler.
"BroadWorks enables PingTone to expand their communication solutions by offering
enhanced mobility and multimedia services to their growing list of business
customers."

New pricing will come out for the products and services on the BroadWorks
platform in the near future. The new platform is targeted to be live and in
production in August 2010.
