WOODBRIDGE, N.J.--(Business Wire)--
The Nurture Institute today announced that Brian Ruh, one of the top agents of
New York Life Insurance Company has deployed e-Mail Assistantto deliver email
campaigns that target businesses located throughout Wisconsin, Texas, Michigan
and Minnesota. With e-Mail Assistant, New York Life agent Brian Ruh and his team
are implementing a series of personalized email marketing campaigns informing
recipients of its products, services and other investment solutions.

"Prior to selecting and deploying e-Mail Assistant, we communicated our
investment promotions to prospects solely through traditional, paper-based
campaigns," said Brian Ruh. "In addition to the process being very tedious and
costly, we had no means to track which prospects were interested in specific
investment opportunities. We quickly realized that we needed a system that can
help automate this process, deliver personalized messages and provide us with a
detailed reporting to track all campaigns. Additionally, moving to paperless
process allows us to be environmentally conscious which is appreciated by many
of the organizations we are targeting."

Unlike other third-party email marketing solutions that use a fixed email
address or alias to distribute campaigns, e-Mail Assistant provides a hybrid
approach, combining a SaaS-based platform that integrates with Microsoft
Outlook. Each campaign is centrally managed via e-Mail Assistant, but the actual
delivery utilizes individual sales personnel`s Outlook application to send
outbound personalized email messages which are unobtrusive to the sender and
fully transparent to the recipient.

Ruh selected e-Mail Assistant in November of 2009 and has launched four
campaigns thus far. He now has the ability to view the solution`s "Activity Now"
alerts which lets senders know when an email is opened by a recipient. This
feature allows senders to focus his or her attention on the most promising leads
and proactively respond. Additionally, the Nurture Institute offers the optional
service of creating email templates as well as the copywriting, something Ruh
has taken advantage of.

Highlighting its success with e-Mail Assistant, Ruh recently distributed an
investment promotion to a list of 650 prospects in a recent email campaign in
which 30 executive-level recipients expressed interest. Among the 30 prospects
that were contacted, seven meetings were immediately scheduled. From these
meetings, Ruh was able to secure a multi-million dollar premium sale.

"Prior to e-Mail Assistant, we would have to invest a significant amount of time
following up with everyone on our campaign list, not having any idea if they
received the information and had an opportunity to review it," explained Ruh.
"Now, we can focus our efforts on those that clicked through, and as a result
can be more proactive with our follow-up. This has enabled us to close business
faster while responding to the needs of our customers and prospects."

Looking ahead, Ruh and his team plan to utilize e-Mail Assistant across other
marketing and sales initiatives.
