American Pulse(TM): Half Worried About "What's Next" After Healthcare Reform

COLUMBUS, OH, Apr 06 (MARKET WIRE) --
With the way President Obama and Congressional leaders passed healthcare
reform, 52.4% of Americans are concerned about "what's next" to be pushed
through, according to the latest American Pulse(TM) survey of 5,056
Americans. On the other hand, 30.9% aren't worried because it was a
one-time thing.

Given the year-long battle between Democrats and Republicans over
healthcare, it's no surprise that 61% of Americans say the division
between political parties is the worst they've seen in their lifetime.
Many believe President Obama isn't helping matters; 45% say President
Obama's rhetoric isn't conducive to fostering bipartisanship in
Washington (26.7% disagree).
Regarding the healthcare reform itself, 39.8% think it's
unconstitutional; 35.4% believe it isn't.
Other key findings:
-- 57% say U.S. relations with Israel are somewhat/very important.
-- 40.2% think the Obama administration isn't doing enough to protect
Americans from Iran's nuclear weapons program...27.2% say it is.
-- 58.4% doesn't support a soda tax... 32.6% disagree saying the
government needs the money and it will help fight obesity.
-- 41.9% believe climate change is something that needs to be address
this year... 40.8% say it isn't.
-- Americans picked right -- the highest percentage (41.9%) thought Duke
would win the NCAA tournament.
