Tsakos Energy Navigation Ltd. ("TEN") (NYSE: TNP) announces that Mr.
Nikolas Tsakos, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, will
appear on the FOX Business Network today, Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at
around 3:20 PM EDT to discuss developments in the Company, as well as
Global Oil and Tanker Markets. He will be a guest on "Countdown to the
Closing Bell" with anchor Liz Claman.

 TEN's pro forma fleet, including the
remaining three vessels considered as held for sale (Marathon, Victory
III and Hesnes), consists of 49 double-hull vessels of 5.2 million dwt
and includes two DNA-aframax crude carriers and two suexmax tankers
currently under construction totaling 526,000 dwt.
