Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. Receives Two Additional Patents For Magnesium Thiosulfate and Calcium Thiosulfate

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc, (TKI) announced today they have received two additional
patents for products within their thiosulfate product range.

U.S. Patent # 7,686,963 B2 was issued for the use of magnesium thiosulfate as an
ozone quencher and scrubber for use in potable water and waste water streams.

U.S. Patent #7,494,525 for use of calcium thiosulfate as a urease inhibitor in
an agricultural application to improve nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) of UAN and
urea solutions when applied together in a concentrated zone.

Dr. Michael Hojjatie and TKI`s Research and Development Group were instrumental
in the development and patenting of these applications for this thiosulfate
range of products.
