Star Navigation and Astrium Announce Technical Partnership Agreement

  TORONTO, ONTARIO, Apr 06 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
Star Navigation ("Star" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: SNA), is pleased
to announce the signing of a Technical Partnership Agreement (TPA) with
Astrium, a wholly owned subsidiary of EADS, to enhance and implement the
patented In-flight Safety Monitoring System (ISMS(TM)) - the next
generation of aircraft data transmission systems that provides commercial
aircraft operators with a capable, reliable, cost-effective solution to
greatly enhance awareness of aircraft performance, status and location.

    The Agreement has been forged to maximise the excellent and complementary
capabilities that both teams provide, building a stronger product and
infrastructure, to increase value to the operator and other industry
stakeholders.

    Star Navigation will supply airborne systems and installations, developed
over ten years, which will provide customized and comprehensive
independent data processing and intelligent monitoring facilities of the
aircraft systems.

    Astrium will supply satellite communication systems expertise, networking
facilities, and will lead marketing and sales activities. Further
enhancements will involve Astrium's data tracking research and
development activities.
