Despatch Industries Hires John Farrell as Managing Director for Solar Business Group

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, Apr 06 (MARKET WIRE) --
Despatch Industries, a leading process technology provider for the solar
industry, is pleased to announce the addition of John Farrell to the
company. John joins Despatch serving as the Managing Director of the
Solar Business Group.

John brings over 14 years of domestic and international management
experience with Applied Materials. In his new role John will be
responsible for leading the growth of the company's solar business
including solar strategy, product and technology development, engineering
and the global service. John has held business management roles in Japan,
Korea, Taiwan and China. At Applied Materials he held various business
positions in their semi conductor and solar business segments including
Director of Business Management Asia for the Etch product business group
and most recently as Director of Business Management for the thin film
solar products group. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Trinity
College Dublin, The University of Dublin, Ireland.
