EnergySolutions Depleted Uranium Results Confirmed

  SALT LAKE CITY, UT, Apr 06 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
EnergySolutions, Inc. (NYSE: ES) announced that the State of Utah,
Department of Environmental Quality's analytical results from the
independent sampling of 171 barrels of Depleted Uranium from Savannah
River Site (SRS) are well below limits set by the State of Utah for
Technetium-99.

the contents of the DU containers because we were confident that the
independent laboratory findings would validate our original testing and

    This independent study confirms previous studies conducted by the
Department of Energy and EnergySolutions in demonstrating that the SRS DU
meets health and safety standards set by the State of Utah.
