CANADA STOCKS-TSX slumps as oil retreats, Greece weighs

TORONTO, April 6 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened lower on Tuesday as oil prices fell from 18-month highs and investors fled to safety over a report Greece wants to renegotiate a financial aid package.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 47.34 points, or 0.39 percent, at 12,139.01. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
