TELEFONICA (TEF.MC)

The mobile operator has paid down 1 billion euros of a syndicated loan ahead of time, Cinco Dias reported, citing a document sent to the U.S. stock exchange on Jan. 29.

IBERDROLA (IBE.MC) REPSOL (REP.MC) ACS (ACS.MC) SACYR VALLEHERMOSO (SVO.MC)

Spain's congress votes at 1400 GMT on whether to ban companies from restricting shareholder voting rights in general meetings. If approved by Spain's senate, the law would make it easier to take control of major companies like Repsol or Iberdrola.

GAS NATURAL (GAS.MC) CEPSA CEP.MC REPSOL (REP.MC)

Spain has hiked prices for bottled gas by 5.75 percent and for gas piped into about 7 million Spanish homes by 4.15 percent, El Mundo reported on Friday citing the government.
