Tesoro says Wilmington, CA, hydrocracker offline

NEW YORK, April 6 (Reuters) - Tesoro Corp (TSO.N) said on Tuesday that a hydrocracker unit was taken offline Monday night at its 100,000 barrel-per-day Wilmington, California, refinery.

"The hydrocracker at Tesoro's Wilmington, California, refinery was taken off line last night due to plugging that resulted from sediments stirred up during last week's earthquake," said Lynn Westfall, a company spokesman.

"The unit will be restarted soon after cleaning has been completed," he added in an email. (Reporting by Janet McGurty and Haitham Haddadin)
