WASHINGTON, April 6 (Reuters) - All unused U.S. export credit guarantees for fiscal 2010 will be canceled as of April 9, the U.S. Agriculture Department said on Tuesday, after earlier announcing it would modify the program to help settle a cotton trade dispute with Brazil.

USDA says any remaining credits may be offered under new guarantee fee rates to be detailed at a later date.

As of Feb. 28, there were $265 million in unused export credits for fiscal 2010, according to the USDA website. (Reporting by Roberta Rampton and Charles Abbott)
