NEW YORK, April 7 (Reuters) - Goldman Sachs Group Inc (GS.N) proprietary trader Ali Hedayat has left the firm, Bloomberg News reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Hedayat was a managing director with Goldman's largest internal hedge fund and was its second major departure, Bloomberg said.

Pierre Henri Flamand, who ran Goldman Sachs Principal Strategies division from London, left last month to start up his own hedge fund, Bloomberg said.

A Goldman Sachs spokesman did not immediately return a message seeking comment. (Reporting by Steve Eder; Editing by Steve Orlofsky)
