AU sees higher PC, TV panel shipments in Q2

TAIPEI, April 22 (Reuters) - AU Optronics Corp (2409.TW), the world's No.4 LCD maker, said on Thursday it expected its TV and PC panel shipments to rise about 10 percent in the second quarter from the previous three months.
The company also expects its average selling prices for both TV and PC panels to be flat to slightly higher during the same period, CFO Andy Yang told an investor conference.
He added that AU would run at nearly full capacity in the second quarter. (US$1=T$31.4) (Reporting by Baker Li, Editing by Jonathan Standing)
