China launches anti-dumping probe of fibers from EU, U.S.

BEIJING, April 22 (Reuters) - China's Ministry of Commerce said it decided to start anti-dumping investigations into optical fibers from the United States and European Union on Thursday.

The ministry will seek evidence about the scale of dumping from these countries and their damage to Chinese industries, it said in a statement on its website, www.mofcom.gov.cn. (Reporting by Langi Chiang and Simon Rabinovitch; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
