ST. THOMAS, ONTARIO, Apr 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Trueclaim Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE: TRM) (the "Company")
an explorer and developer of precious metals, is pleased to provide the
following update in its evaluation of the Scadding Gold Mine and
surrounding area property.
1) Airborne Survey - The Company has engaged the services of Terraquest
Ltd, (http://www.terraquest.ca) of Markham, Ontario, specialists in High
Resolution Airborne Geophysical Surveys, to carry out an airborne survey
of landholdings held by Trueclaim and others. The survey represents a
total area of 24,000 Ha (59,305 acres or 240 square kilometers) in
Scadding, Davis, Maclennan and Street Townships located approximately 50
km northwest of Sudbury. This survey is part of the Company's exploration
program that was financed late last year. The low level fixed wing survey
will consist of a gradient and total field magnetic survey, a radiometric
scintillometer survey, a triaxial VLF survey and colour digital
photography of the area. The results of this data will assist in the
interpretation of the underlying geology of varying magnetic
susceptibility and varying concentrations of Uranium, Thorium and
Potassium. The location of fault structures as well as the identification
of near surface conductors can also be achieved with this survey. This
information will be valuable as Trueclaim focuses on its upcoming
geologic mapping program to evaluate existing mineralized zones and
delineate potential additional mineralized areas. The survey is scheduled
to begin in mid-April pending weather conditions.
2) XRF Detection Equipment - In early April the Company entered into a
lease agreement to acquire the use of a hand held X-ray Fluorescent unit
(XRF) to assist in the onsite evaluation of alteration and mineralization
for the upcoming field season. The unit acquired is the InnovX Systems
Inc. (http://www.innovx.com) "Delta Premium" model that was
introduced during the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada
convention held in March, 2010. The device is one of the most
cutting-edge non-vacuum handheld XRF units on the market, featuring a
rhodium X-ray tube and wide area silicon drift detector. The unit comes
with a Bluetooth communication package that includes a Trimble Yuma
ruggedized computer tablet running the Windows 7 operating system with
built-in GPS and ioGas software. This setup will offer enhanced in-field
detection capabilities, and allow for the creation of multi-element
colour coded geochemical real-time in-field maps. The equipment will
initially be operated by the company's senior project geologist and
qualified person, Bob Komarechka, a Level 2 certified XRF operator as
registered with Natural Resources Canada. Training of other company
personnel will follow on arrival of the instrument anticipated within the
next month.
These steps represent ongoing additions to Trueclaim's overall effort to
properly identify potential mineralized zones on its Scadding and area
holdings. As previously announced the Company's Phase I drill and
exploration program completed in February, 2010 provided encouraging
results in terms of gold mineralization and strong justification for
proceeding with the Phase II program in 2010.
We seek Safe Harbour.
