Balchem Corporation Announces Quarterly Conference Call on First Quarter 2010
Financial Results on May 4, 2010

NEW HAMPTON, N.Y., April 22, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Balchem Corporation
(Nasdaq:BCPC) today announced that a conference call will be held on Tuesday,
May 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) to review first quarter 2010 results.
Dino A. Rossi, Chairman, President and CEO, and Frank Fitzpatrick, Chief
Financial Officer, will host the call.

Quarterly results will be released to the market on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 9:30
AM (ET). The press release, and its accompanying financial exhibits, will also
be available on the Company website, www.balchem.com prior to the conference
call.
