Cytec Elects William (Bill) Wood as an Officer of the Corporation

WOODLAND PARK, N.J.--(Business Wire)--
Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today the that its Board of Directors
elected William (Bill) Wood as a Corporate Officer of Cytec Industries Inc.
effective immediately in addition to his existing roles as President, Cytec
Engineered Materials and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Mr. Wood has
served in these roles since October of 2009. 

Mr. Wood, 48, has held various commercial, operations and general management
roles across Engineered Materials in the United States and Europe. He came to
Cytec as part of the Fiberite acquisition in 1997. Shane Fleming, Chairman,
President and Chief Executive Officer commented, "Bill has provided excellent
