The Chairman of Canasia Power Corp., Mr. Ashok Dhillon, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Duncan - BA, CFA, as the Company's
Chief Financial Analyst and Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Duncan
brings over 35-years experience as a Senior Financial Analyst with
leading investment banks, such as Wood Gundy Inc., Deutsche Bank Canada,
and Merrill Lynch Canada. Mr. Duncan has been ranked as #1 Financial
Analyst, in North America, in 2007 and as #1 in Canada, in the Forest
Products and the Pulp and Paper Industry, for a number of years during
his career. Since power and electricity is a large component in the Pulp
and Paper Industry, Mr. Duncan is very familiar with the power sector.
