Company receives Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard Award for Technical Support and
Customer Service
CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
ZOLL Medical Corporation (NasdaqGS: ZOLL), a manufacturer of medical devices and
related software solutions, announced today that it is one of only four
companies to receive the Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard AwardSM for the ninth
consecutive year for excellence in customer satisfaction. Now in its tenth year,
the award is presented annually by the Omega Management Group Corporation to
organizations that, as rated solely by their own customers, achieved excellence
in customer service and support during the prior calendar year.

ZOLL has qualified for the award nine times for its Technical Support, and was
also honored for a second consecutive year in the areas of Customer Service and
Shipping and Delivery. According to Omega, the awards in each category
"demonstrate an ongoing commitment to building profitable, long-term customer
loyalty by exceeding customer expectations."

"Since 2000, ZOLL`s customer satisfaction levels for technical support and
customer service have consistently remained high," said Jonathan A. Rennert,
President of ZOLL. "This type of consistency year after year clearly
demonstrates the importance we place on customer service as we develop products
that help advance the practices of resuscitation and critical care."

"Due to its unique `customer-only vote` criteria, the NorthFace ScoreBoard Award
has been viewed from its inception as the only objective benchmark for
excellence in customer service," said John Alexander Maraganis, President and
CEO of Omega. "In 2009, more than 200 projects, many international in scope,
were judged from 58 companies based in the U.S. and abroad. The majority of
companies are repeat recipients, which shows that, despite the tough economy,
implementing a Customer Experience Management strategy is a reliable, proven way
to achieve business success."

To qualify organizations for the award, Omega`s methodology measures customer
satisfaction and loyalty levels on a 5-point scale four times during the year.
NorthFace ScoreBoard Award recipients are companies who, based solely on survey
responses from their own customers, achieved a 4.0 or above out of a possible
5.0.
