SEOUL, April 22 (Reuters) - South Korea's LG Display
(034220.KS) said on Thursday the global LCD market was seen
stronger than expected in 2010 due to firm demand and limited
supply growth.
"Demand appears to be stronger than we had thought, while
supply growth is limited due to component shortages...so we
expect the global LCD market to remain tight this year, " said
Kwon Young-soo, chief executive of LG Display, the world's No.2
maker of liquid crystal display (LCD) screens.
