CANADA STOCKS-TSX dives at open as Greece worries weigh

TORONTO, April 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened sharply lower on Thursday after the European Union said Greece's budget deficit was worse than first believed.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE fell 76.96 points, or 0.63 percent, to 12,057.60. (Reporting by Claire Sibonney, editing by Peter Galloway)
