SANTANDER (SAN.MC)
Spain's largest bank said the sale of stakes in two Brazilian banks would generate a capital gain of about 233 million euros ($313.2 million). [ID:nLDE63O0FN]

The Spanish government said on Friday it had sent a proposal to the energy regulator to postpone 3.2 billion euros ($4.30 billion) of investment in natural gas and electricity infrastructure.

Banco Popular is close to completing the sale of up to 800 of its bank branches, more than a third of its total, in deals which could raise up to 700 million euros in capital gains, El Economista reported on Monday without citing sources.

The Catalan savings bank La Caixa has started to sound out investors on contributing to a 100 million euro fund aimed at buying wind parks in Spain, Expansion reported on Monday, citing market sources.
