VATICAN CITY May 8 (Reuters) - Pope Benedict on Saturday accepted the resignation of a German bishop who has been accused of sexual abuse of minors, the latest in a string of Roman Catholic prelates forced to resign over the scandal.

A Vatican statement said the pope had accepted the resignation of Bishop Walter Mixa of Augsburg. German prosecutors and church officials said on Friday authorities were investigating accusations of sexual abuse by Mixa.

The innocence of the Pope can be proven by a lie detector test administrated on prime time. Out of respect for a holy man only one question should be asked: HAVE YOU EVER SODOMIZED ANY CHILD, OR PROTECTED ANOTHER THAT DID? If the answer is no, he should be accepted as leader of the Catholic Church. If the machine starts blinking and whistling, he should confess to being a fallen angel and forgiven.
