Italy BTP spread to bund narrows below 100

MILAN May 10 (Reuters) - The yield gap between Italian 10-year BTP bonds and German Bunds narrowed to below 100 basis points on Monday after the weekend announcement of a bumper rescue package aimed at shoring up confidence in European markets.

The spread had been at 164 basis points on Friday.
