NEW YORK & CO INC (NWY.N), $4.57, down 14 pct

The women's apparel chain posted a first-quarter loss in line with market expectations and forecast a bigger loss from continuing operations for the second quarter citing increased promotions. [ID:nSGE64J0HR]

WABASH NATIONAL CORP (WNC.N), $7.6, down 14 pct

The semi-trailer maker said it intends to publicly offer 11 million shares, about 35 percent of its common shares outstanding, and expects to use a portion of the net proceeds to repay debt. [ID:nSGE64I0Q3]

HOT TOPIC INC HOTT.O, $5.88, down 10 pct

Shares of the teen apparel retailer fell a day after it swung to a quarterly loss, hurt by a decline in sales at its namesake division, and forecast a second-quarter loss that would at best meet Wall Street expectations. [ID:nSGE64I0OX]

RESOURCE CAPITAL CORP (RSO.N), $5.23, down 8 pct

Shares of the company were down after it priced a public common stock follow-on offering. [ID:nWEN4943]

NETEASE.COM (NTES.O), $29.75, down 5 pct

The China's No. 3 game operator, which posted a softer-than-expected quarterly profit rise of 8.5 percent, is looking at more weakness in the months ahead due to maturing game titles and fewer holidays in the period. [ID:nSGE64I0O7]

ADVANCE AUTO PARTS INC (AAP.N), $49.37, up 7 pct

Shares of the company rose, a day after the auto parts retailer posted strong first-quarter results and reaffirmed its full-year operating earnings outlook. [ID:nSGE64J0JM]

ARUBA NETWORKS INC (ARUN.O), $12.20, up 5.4 pct

At least one brokerage raised its rating on the stock after the company posted a strong third-quarter profit and forecast fourth-quarter results above estimates Wednesday.[ID:nSGE64I0PZ]


The company reported a quarterly profit that beat expectations as it boosted margins through tight cost controls, and the men's apparel retailer raised its earnings view for the current financial year. [ID:nSGE64J0GX]

ZIONS BANCORP (ZION.O), $23.10, down 5 pct

Shares of Zions fell a day after the lender priced a public offering of 21.08 million warrants at $8.3028 per warrant.


Shares of the company were down after Goldman Sachs removed Alpha Natural from Americas conviction list.
